2010 Class Schedule Introduction to Glass Fusing This is a Three Meeting beginning kiln working class. This class will teach you basic glass fusing techniques and safety. We will cover glass selection, construction of glass projects, annealing times, and kiln firing programs. This class will be an exercise in basic plate making, which is kiln work's most popular form. Participants make two fused and slumped plates with pre-cut elements and one fused glass cobochon. Instruction, kiln firings and materials are included, lunch is also provided on Sat. with snacks on Sun. When: Class meets: Sat. April 10, 10am-3:00pm and Sun. April 11, 10am-2pm There is also an optional meeting Sat. April 17 10:00am - 11:00am to pick-up and discuss your projects. Class Fee: $200.00
Beginning Stained Glass: This is a six-week introductory class for beginners or those who would like a refresher class. Structured demonstrations and free work periods as well as limited class size make this a great way to get started in glass. When: Class starts: Thurs. March 4th - Thurs. April 8th 7:00pm-9:30pm This class meets six consecutive Thurs. evenings. Fee: $150.00 (some tool purchase is required)
*Intermediate Stained/Fused Glass Workshop: This is a Nine-week class that meets one day a week, for the student with beginning stained and/or *fused glass experience. This is a self-guided workshop introductory skills are not covered in this class. Free of structured lectures this workshop is designed to allow you to spread your glass wings with help when you require it. Two instructors insure ample attention to all students. This class is also a great opportunity for students to fabricate fused glass projects, kiln rental is discounted 50% to current students. Projects totaling more than 6 sq. feet must be pre-approved by Michael.

Fee:$165.00 nine week Session *Introduction to Glass Fusing is a prerequisite for any student that wishes to fuse this class.
